I got my letter recently
and had a few questions about the forms that the polite lady at KCC answered.
I'm posting the answers in case it helps somebody:
1. I have no kids but we're expecting next month, what do I do.
A: Notify KCC in writing when the child is born, filling out a DS230 form for it.
2. My wife was a student in the US and she had numerous previous visits on her student visa. Does she have to fill out each trip as a visit in section 25?
A: No, just write in the first entry using the student visa and the last exit.
3. Confirm I can enter "address to be determined later" in sections 10 and 11.
A: Yes you can. You can also fill in "N/A".
4. On section 29, who is the petitioner?
A: For a dv the petitioner is the winner of the lottery. The winner is also the petitioner on the spouse's and children's DS230.
5. What are the "Police Papers" required for the interview?
A: Basically a paper indicating you have a clear record from the embassy of any country you have stayed at for more than 6 months since the age of 16. You don't need one from the USA.
Best of luck to all DV2008 winners.
